By Subway

Metropolitan Transit Authority (MTA) Subway

  • Take the F train to Smith/9th Street Train station and change for the B77 Bus. Get off bus at Conover Street and Dikeman Street. The walk is then approximately 6 long blocks to the terminal entrance.
  • Take 2/3/4/5/N/R subway train to Borough Hall and change for B61 bus which is on Atlantic Avenue (at Court Street). You must walk four (4) blocks south of the train station to access the bus stop. Get off bus at Pioneer Street and Van Brunt Street. The walk is then approximately 4 long blocks to the terminal entrance at Pioneer and Conover streets.

Penn Station and Grand Central Station are the closest train stations from the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal. Taxis are readily available from both stations to Brooklyn Cruise Terminal. John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), La Guardia Airport (LGA), and Newark International Airport (ERW) are the closest airports from the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal. For directions to or from a specific destination, please use the map above. All cars enter the Terminal from the Bowne Street and Imlay Street intersection. 

  • From Manhattan and Points North
    Take the Battery Tunnel (I-478-E) into Brooklyn. Continue onto the westbound Brooklyn-Queens Expressway (I-278-W) and immediately take the first exit on the right: Exit 26- Hamilton Avenue onto the service road. Stay to the left and make a left-U-turn at the intersection of Hamilton Avenue with Clinton Street/9th Street, then continue west along the westbound Hamilton Avenue service road. Continue on the service road to its end at Van Brunt Street. Turn left at Van Brunt Street, travel 2 blocks and then turn right onto Bowne Street to enter the terminal.
  • From Long Island and Points East
    Take the LIE west to the westbound Brooklyn-Queens Expressway (I-278-W, just after Exit 18 Maurice Avenue) and take Exit 26 – Hamilton Avenue onto the service road. Stay to the left and make a left-U-turn at the intersection of Hamilton Avenue with Clinton Street/9th Street, then continue west along the westbound Hamilton Avenue service road. Continue on the service road to its end at Van Brunt Street. Turn left at Van Brunt Street, travel 2 blocks and then turn right onto Bowne Street to enter the terminal.
  • From New Jersey and Points South and West
    Take the NJ Turnpike south to Exit 13. Cross the Goethals Bridge to I-278, Staten Island Expressway and cross Verrazano Bridge into Brooklyn. Continue north on Gowanus / BQE and exit at Exit 26 (Hamilton Avenue). After the exit, go down the ramp to Van Brunt Street to its end, make a left turn on Van Brunt and travel 2 blocks and turn right onto Bowne Street to enter terminal.

Parking

Parking at the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal is on the south side of the terminal entrance overlooking the Statue of Liberty. Parking at the Cruise Terminal is a revolving system. The ships arrive between 7–8 am, and passengers who have parked at the terminal are often finished with customs and off the property by 10–10:30 am, freeing up parking spaces. On-site Parking is open, and the Porters are available by 9 am. Most vehicle traffic at the terminal is from buses, shuttle service, taxis, drop-off, and pick-up. There are spaces to park RVs, buses, and larger vehicles on the main level of the terminal near the Security Main gate. Make a reservation to park at Brooklyn Cruise Terminal.

Parking Rates*

Overnight Rate (Up to 24 Hours): $45.00/per night (effective April 01, 2023) *Cruise passenger parking only.

Reservations are not needed to park and taxes are included in the rates. Parking resides in an outdoor lot with security. There is no upcharge for sport utility vehicles.

Payment is accepted by cash and the following major credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express.
